S.A. man spraying for wasps dies in fall through skylight

SAN ANTONIO -- Police say a man apparently trying to spray bugs at a South Texas business has died after falling through a skylight of an industrial building on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as David Hutchings. He was 47.

Sgt. Javier Salazar said Hutchings was apparently trying to spray a nest of wasps atop the Bertrands Fozen Food building in the 3900 block of I-35 when he was attacked of lost his balance.

Hutchings fell through a skylight, although police did not immediately say how far he fell.

Salazar said he died at the scene.
