SAN ANTONIO -- A man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a Bexar County sheriff deputy's vehicle while it was parked outside a home on the city's north side.

Edward Rojas, 20, was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Bexar County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

According to an arrest affidavit, Rojas broke into the vehicle on Sunday morning and was caught on camera attempting to sell the stolen binocular and an armored vest at a local pawn shop.

Investigators said Rojas also presented his ID when selling the stolen items at the pawn shop.
