SAN ANTONIO -- A 26-year-old man is accused of attacking a family member at gunpoint and running from police in a stolen car.
According to a Hollywood Park police affidavit, officers received a call on July 12 from a woman stating that George Hock had punched her and was holding her at gunpoint.
Officers said Hock had all the doors locked to the home in the 300 block of Mustang Circle when they arrived. They said he also threatened to shoot the woman if they tried to entered the home.
Officers eventually busted down a door to get to Hock, but said he had already escaped from the house.
While out searching for Hock, officers said he returned home and stole a car from an elderly family member and left the area.
Hock, a convicted felon, was later arrested and charged with evading arrest, felon in possession of a weapon and controlled substance, theft and assault.
He was taken to Bexar County Jail on a $221,000 bond.
