San Antonio police along with TABC officers are cracking down on a west-side bar.
Within recent months, there has been several crimes committed in the G Bar parking lot. Now law enforcement is taking matters into their own hands.
Police say violent shootings, cuttings, even attacks involving the deadly force of a vehicle are happening all too often at G Bar, located in the 6800 block of Ingram Road.
Within the last 12 months police have responded to the location dozens of times.
In late March closing time turned into a shooting scene in the G Bar parking lot. Police say a man who was sitting in his truck starting shooting at a security guard. The guard returned fire, hitting the man in the calf.
About two months later a fight outside of the bar ended with one man getting stabbed and the another getting beat with a baseball bat.
In July two teenagers were rushed to the hospital after they were ambushed by a gunman.
In early August a man was shot twice int he rear and thigh.
The most recent incident happened last Friday when a security guard opened fire on two suspects suspected of trying to steal liquor. The guard hit one of the tires and the couple crashed out. Authorities were able to locate the driver.
Police say 20-year-old Agyei Gore was arrested for the crime.
G Bar management says much of the violent activity stems from surrounding bars who share the same parking lot.
