It was a close call for the driver of a big-rig that dangled off I-37 Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m.
The truck driver says slick roads are to blame for sending his tractor trailer skidding off, but not over, the highway above Austin Street.
Crews re-opened the highway around 6 a.m., but not before this driver was thanking his lucky stars.
