A Helotes man is facing sex assault charges with a minor in connection to a 2010 case.
On Thursday, authorities arrested 22-year-old Jerreal Minor in connection to the alleged incident.
According to the suspect's arrest warrant, Minor insisted the 16-year-old victim stay at his apartment after a party because she was drunk and had passed out.
He told police he was concerned some guys would try to take advantage of her.
The victim claims she woke up naked and found Minor performing sex acts on her.
Police said DNA evidence found on the victim's blouse match Minor's.
Those results just came back in July 2012.
Minor was booked into the Bexar County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
Minor was accused in a similar case in 2009, but according to court documents, there was not enough evidence for that case to go to trial.
