SAN ANTONIO -- Debra Dears just wants her new sofa and loveseat. She bought a new set from Furniture Zone & Flooring in June and had it delivered the following Monday.

The problem came when she says the delivery men ripped the sofa and loveseat in several places while struggling to get it into her home.

Furniture Zone said they would replace it. More than a month later when the replacement furniture arrived, it was the wrong color. So Dears sent it back.

Since then Dears says the owner of Furniture Zone has tried to get her to pay $254 more because that's how much he says he deducted off the price because Dears agreed to take the floor model.

After four months, Dears became tired of waiting and called Eyewitness Wants To Know.

When we went to speak with the owner, a man who identified himself as Oscar at first told us the furniture was damaged when Dears agreed to take it.

"But out of the goodness of his heart" he agreed to order her a replacement set.

He says he told Dears when the sofa came in, but the loveseat never arrived.  Oscar says Dears told him she would just wait until the loveseat arrived.

Dears says she hasn't spoken to anyone from Furniture Zone since August 27.

While we were at the store, Oscar checked on Dears' order. He said it is scheduled to be delivered the week of October 8.

We'll let you know if that happens.
