SAN ANTONIO -- A major accident shut down the north bound lanes of I-35 and Division Avenue just south of Downtown San Antonio.
All lanes remained closed as of 11:00 p.m. Friday night with heavy delays in the area.
San Antonio Police say at about 7:15 Friday evening, the driver of an SUV attempting to change lanes collided with a semi-truck. The crash resulted in the semi-truck leaking approximately 75-gallons of diesel fuel.
Hazmat crews remained on the scene late Friday evening working to clean the crash scene. Investigators said one person was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Crews estimate all lanes will reopen by midnight.
