SAN ANTONIO -- A west-side home burned to the ground early Sunday morning as firefighters tried to douse the lapping flames.

Firefighters said the home in the 100 block of Allsup Street was fully engulfed in fire when they arrived around 3:45 a.m.

The home had no electricity and neighbors said nobody lives at the home. However, firefighters said that neighbors saw someone leave the house several hours before the fire started.
