San Antonio police said a fight between a man and woman inside a moving vehicle led to a roll-over accident.
It happened at about 11 p.m. Wednesday on I-35 at New Braunfels just east of downtown.
The car rolled into the grassy median and ejected the woman from the car.
She was rushed to University Hospital in critical condition.
Officers said they believed the male driver was intoxicated.
