Kendall Co. - The beating death of a probation officer that happened 8 years ago has gone unsolved to this day. Beth Hicks' family has now put up thousands of dollars in reward money hoping someone will help solve the case.

The family has put up $20,000 that's already on top of a Crime Stoppers reward of $5,000. The victim is Beth Hicks she was a Kendall Co. probation officer. The 36 year old woman was found dead on June 30th, 2004 outside her Boerne home. She lived at the Foothills Mobile Home Ranch Annex on Johns Rd.

Investigators found Hicks beaten to death. They have been trying to solve this case for a number of years. All they have to go on is a fingerprint and a shoe-print but to this day they don't have a solid lead and have not found a weapon.

Homicide investigators do believe the killer or killers knew Hicks. The family is hoping the new reward brings in more tips and hopefully leads to an arrest.

Please call the Kendall Co. Crime Stoppers with any tips to 1-800-348-5323.
