San Antonio police say a car heading eastbound on the access road of Loop 1604 and Blanco, ran a red light and t-boned the car carrying five kids and their mother, just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
That car then spun into yet another vehicle waiting for a light.
The children were taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
