From now until Labor Day, drivers across the state will be subject to mandatory blood tests as the no-refusal weekend gets under way.
It is an effort to thwart drinking and driving this weekend.
Judges will be on duty to issue warrants and nurses will be on hand to draw blood.
San Antonio already has a no-refusal policy in place that is not limited to this weekend.
