The search goes on this morning for a would-be shoplifter who set fire to a Dollar General store after being caught red-handed while trying to steal from the store.
Police say the arsonist walked into the store in the 2900 block of Pleasanton and was caught stealing by the store employees. He ran out of the building before police could get there, but then he returned and set fire to a box of coat hangers and a shelf of pet food.
The fire was put out before any serious damage was done.
The arsonist fled the store and hasn't been seen since.
