When a trooper pulled over a school bus about 80 miles south of San Antonio, the driver allegedly put the vehicle in neutral and headed for the hills.
A search of the bus uncovered more than a million dollars worth of marijuana. They said they found several mannequin heads propped up with cardboard used disguise his cargo.
Authorities at the Texas Department of Public Safety said they caught up with the driver, Carlos Ortiz, who is a Mexican national.
