SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters had to use a crane on Tuesday morning to remove a vehicle that plowed into an apartment complex on the city's northwest side.
The car's brakes went out around 9 a.m. as the driver was trying to park in the 5200 block of Fredericksburg Road, San Antonio firefighters said.
The car slammed a tree, hopped over a retaining wall and then careened into the building.
The driver was uninjured.
