SAN ANTONIO -- Crowds at Canyon Lake are taking advantage of what's known as the "last hurrah" before summer ends.
Despite lower-than-normal lake levels, people packed the lake for Labor Day celebrations. Lake officials say the water level is eight to nine feet below its normal level, and they hope winter rain will help replenish the water supply.
In the meantime, it's a holiday full of barbecues and relaxation, and with folks working hard -- at having a good time.
