SAN ANTONIO -- Police say they have arrested two suspects on charges of intent to deliver black tar heroin following a drug bust on the city's southeast side.
Officers with the San Antonio Police Department's repeat offenders unit made the arrests on Friday afternoon at home near the intersection of I-10 and I-37.
A man and a woman, who police said are both in their 30s, were arrested and charged with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
The names of the suspects were not immediately available.
Officers said they found a large amount of black tar heroin inside the home, although they were not immediately sure exactly how much.
Two children who were with the suspects were taken away by their grandparents, police said.
