The Bexar County Tax Assessor Collector's office and other local taxing authorities are getting ready to file more than 1000 lawsuits against property owners who haven't paid.
Those taxpayers collectively owe nearly $8 million in unpaid taxes.
However, it's not too late to avoid legal action. Tax authorities want the people to know, if they are delinquent on their taxes there is still time to make payment arrangements.
There are no added fees for setting up a payment plan.
