Bexar County detectives are on the hunt for a South Texas serial robber.

Julian Ontiveros, 40, is considered a career criminal and is now at the top of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office's "Most Wanted" list.

Ontiveros has been in and out of jail numerous times and is believed to be the leader of a major theft ring that targeted the builders of KB Homes.

He and his crew were busted in March, detectives said. Ontiveros bonded out of jail, but that same week he was arrested again in Live Oak and accused of stealing a vehicle.

One day later, Ontiveros was back out on the streets of South Texas.

Now he's wanted on vehicle theft charges.

Investigators said Ontiveros is considered armed and dangerous. Those with information are asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff's Office at 335-TIPS or 335-8477.
