SAN ANTONIO -- A house at the intersection of Pine Street and Sanders Streetcaught fire overnight Sunday. Authorities say they suspect arson.

According to neighbors, the house used to play host to drug dealers and gangs.

"In reality, everyone just sticks to themselves... The drug addicts tend to get inside abandoned houses, do their drugs, prostitution or whatever... people just kind of stick to themselves," said neighbor Raul Quintanilla.

Quintanilla says that empty houses are easy to find in this part of town, so when he learned the fire department suspected the fire was set intentionally, he wasn't surprised.

"I mean, thre was a lot of crime in them... there's been rapes in them," he said. "Maybe that's God's will doing the job."

The house and a similar abandoned home a mile away were both burned in the same night.
