An alleged gang member made the wrong move and now sits behind bars.
The SAPD Gang Unit went to the Oak Meadow Villa Apartments on Rigsby for a routine check Friday.
Neighbors told them they knew of a gang member and pointed the man out.
When the officers approached the suspect, he allegedly pulled out a semi-automatic weapon, pointed it at the officers, then took off on foot.
The man was apprehended.
