HOUSTON — An Amber Alert issued for 7-year-old Cameron James Tuesday morning has been canceled. The boy and his mother were found shortly before 7:30 a.m.

Police said Cameron and his mother were abducted at gunpoint from the 1700 block of Ojeman around 3:15 a.m. He was sleeping at the time.

The two were taken by a 22-year-old Hispanic male. The suspect is about 5-feet-9-inches tall, weighs about 230 pounds, has a bald head and is heavily tattooed on his torso and scalp.

The suspect was last seen leaving the area with the kidnapped victims near Long Point and Bingle in a red 2004 Ford Expedition with Texas license plate 84KBW7.

Police found all three at the Western Inn in the 1500 block of the North Loop shortly before 7:30 a.m.

The suspect is in police custody.
