SAN ANTONIO -- A 30-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly shooting a man outside a Family Dollar store on the city's northwest side.
Emmanuel Gonzales was arrested Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection to the Aug. 10 shooting.
According to his arrest affidavit, a witness came forward and identified Gonzales as the shooter.
Investigators said the witness has asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation because Gonzales is a known member of Orejon gang.
The victim told police he was walking in the 2900 block of West Avenue when the shooter drove by in a yellow Hummer and yelled at him before firing three shots, according to the police report.
Gonzales was taken to Bexar County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
