SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio’s 13th Floor Haunted House is officially open for its seventh season, and it’s scarier than ever.
KENS 5’s Jeremy Baker followed the first group of 13th Floor victims into the haunted house when it opened this evening at 7pm.
Take a look at the video for what was seen, or what WASN’T seen, but heard.
On Friday, 13th Floor San Antonio will open its doors, ready to spook all who dare enter. Fans of the haunted house will see some of the Alamo City’s favorite icons, but the house of horrors also welcomes new themes this year – Slaughterhouse and Feral Moon.
Slaughterhouse is bringing clown fears to life, where guests are surrounded by vicious clowns who have taken over a local slaughterhouse, dubbing it the Laughterhouse. According to a press release, guests are more likely to cry than laugh.
Feral Moon will place visitors in the middle of an old cemetery on the night of a full moon. They’ll then be met by monstrous werewolves.
“We appreciate the love and support we have gained over the years from San Antonio and we want to continue exceeding the city’s expectations as the most terrifying haunted house,” said Tom Scheer, general manager of the haunted house. “We’re ready to give you a scare that will make you want to jump out of your skin, yet enjoy the fun at the same time. Of course, it helps that the building is actually haunted!”
The 13th Floor Haunted House will be open through Halloween. Rated one of scariest haunted attractions of 2011, 2012 and 2013, according to Hauntworld Magazine, the 13th Floor Haunted House is located at 1203 E. Commerce.
Tickets start at $24.99. More information can be found at www.13thfloorsanantonio.com.
