$1.2 million to be collected in Leon Valley warrant roundup

If you have a warrant in Leon Valley, listen up. Police there are giving you two days to resolve the ticket.

LEON VALLEY – If you have a warrant in Leon Valley, pay attention. Police are giving you two days to resolve the ticket.

Over the next month, Leon Valley police will be actively rounding up people who warrants.

Police will be checking homes and businesses throughout the month of May and people will be arrested for outstanding warrants.

Now if you want to avoid being picked on Tuesday, starting a 6 a.m. you can go to the Municipal Court and resolve the ticket. If you work things out on Tuesday, you can avoid being arrested at work or home.

The second chance for people to resolve their tickets is on May 30.

According to Leon Police Chief Joseph Salvaggio, for these two days, only people can negotiate. The chief said there are about 3,500 warrants with a combined total of $1.2 million.

You have to 5 p.m. Tuesday and a second chance on May 30.
