SAN ANTONIO -- On the eve of a city council hearing on one of the most controversial ordinances in city history, KENS 5's Jeff Goldblatt sat down with James Stevens who left his job after releasing his controversial audio recording of District 9 Councilwoman Elisa Chan making anti-gay comments.

Stevens stresses Chan's need to resign for neglecting her public office. Chan has repeatedly defended her right to freely voice her opinions in a private conversation, behind closed doors.

Tonight at 10, Chan opens up about Stevens in a way never seen in public and Stevens explains his decisions and the backlash.
