As the work continues in Haiti, relief organizations from across the globe are pleading for help.

Answering that call were some of San Antonio's youngest volunteers.

Cub Scouts from the St. Peter Pack 31 camped out at the Bass Pro Shop Saturday collecting money to help victims of the quake.

Scout leaders say it is important to teach the kids that they can make a difference around the world by acting locally.

Cub-master Shane Arnwine's family member was killed in Haiti. Jean Arnwine, 49,  had been serving as a missionary there when the quake struck. Saturday's collection was held in her honor.
