Houston Crime Stoppers search for female bank robber, offers reward

Crime Stoppers in Houston is offering up to $5,000 in cash for help in catching a serial bank robber and another that could be working with her.

HOUSTON - The FBI is actively searching for a female serial bank robber on the run in Houston.

She's been wanted since December.

Federal agents said she robbed two separate banks. Each time she wore a wide-brimmed hat and passed tellers a note demanding cash.

A man also robbed a third Houston-area bank the same way. He was even wearing a wide-brimmed hat similar to the woman’s previous robberies.

Authorities believe they're working together and may be living in the area.

The woman is described as white or Hispanic, with brown hair in her late 20s to early 30s with a tattoo on the right side of her chest. The man is described as a tall black male in his late 20s with a thin build.

Crime Stoppers in Houston is offering up to a $5,000 cash reward for information leading the arrest of both bank robbers. You are asked to call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 713-222-TIPS (8477) or the FBI Houston Field Office at (713) 693-5000.
