PHOTOS: S.A. firefighters run Tunnel to Towers 5K in gear

Officers and firefighters in full uniform took part in the Stephen Sill Tunnel to Towers 5K run Sunday morning at Alamo Plaza in honor of Stephen Siller . On 9/11 Siller, a New York city firefighter was heading home when the first place hit the World Trade Center tower. He turned around to help, running with 60 pounds of gear through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to meet up with his company. He gave his life in service of those in need. The first officer and firefighter to cross the line Sunday morning won a trip to New York City to represent San Antonio in the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5K in New York City.
