More than 200 family members and friends remembered a U.S. soldier killed in action at a funeral in Hondo Wednesday afternoon. Army Spc. Charles Wren's died in Afghanistan from an improvised explosive device (IED) and is fondly remembered in Hondo as "Chaz."

An improvised explosive device (IED) took the life of a young Hondo soldier while on tour in Afghanistan. On Wednesday, hundreds of family members and friends gathered to remember Army Spc.
