Metro Health confirms 10th Zika case in San Antonio

The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District has confirmed the tenth case of Zika in San Antonio. This one, like all the others, was contracted while the person was traveling abroad.

Metro Health did not release the identity of the person carrying the virus.

In a press release, Metro Health reiterated safety measures to prevent mosquitoes including removing standing water from a home, properly protecting stored water, minimizing exposed skin when outside, and protecting exposed skin with DEET or Picaridin products.
