HOUSTON – We now have another reason to get a full eight hours of sleep each night. In fact, women who don’t might be more prone to developing aggressive types of breast cancer.
That’s according to a study in the Science Daily.
Researchers looked over medical records from more than 400 post-menopausal breast cancer patients and asked about their sleep patterns.
They found women who got six hours of sleep or less each night had a higher recurrence of tumors. There isn’t a similar link for pre-menopausal women.
