H1N1 shots are trickling in and people are lining up to get theirs, but there is an alternative treatment not many people  know about.

Ozone treatments use a patients own blood, mixes it with oxygen and ozone, and reinjects the mixture.

Doctors say ozone therapy is popular in parts of Europe, but in the United States it is something that is still considered 'alternative'.

According to doctors, the treatment also speeds up the recovery time, from two weeks to three days.

However, most insurance companies will not pay for the therapy, and because it is not FDA-approved, you must sign a waiver for the ttreatment.
