HOUSTON-Before you check in for your flight this holiday season, be prepared to be checked out for the swine flu.

The government warns that if you fly, you may be asked to pass through a screening device and have your temperature taken.

You'll also have to answer questions about your health, and could even be quarantined if someone on your flight shows symptoms of H1N1.

Airports are also posting signs warning passengers about the H1N1 flu, and asking them to stay home if they think they are sick.

Heather Gruhlkey says she likes the idea because she worries her 4-month-old daughter will be exposed to the virus while they travel.

"I don't want her to get it. You want people who are out in public to be well, be healthy, wash your hands, stay away from my child," she said.

Other travelers like Kelley Goertzen say the guidelines cross the line.

"There's the whole privacy issue of someone looking at me and profiling me in a different way because I may look sick," she said.

Chiquita Malone says she's putting her health into her own hands.

"Myself, I am just going to wash my hands, take precautions, I have hand sanitizer, that's about as best as I can do," she said.
