Fire breaks out in King William building

SAN ANTONIO -- A fire started in the 800 block of St. Mary's Street around 6:30 a.m. Monday.

The San Antonio Fire Department was working to put out the fire at the King William Professional Building.

Fire Chief Charles Hood said fire was coming from the middle of the building's roof. According to Hood, the blaze started from the air conditioner or air handling units on the  roof. He said there was significant damage to the restaurant.

No one was inside at the time. Damage estimates were not available.
