A woman that died overnight after being shot at following a high-speed chase has been identified by police as 21-year-old Ditraniq Hawkins.
Hawkins was pronounced dead a little after 12 a.m. on Sunday.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, late Saturday night, Hawkins was in a car with another victim allegedly being chased by another car. When the two victims got into an accident involving a third car, a suspect pulled up and fired at the two victims, killing Hawkins.
Both victims were taken to University Hospital, where Hawkins was pronounced dead. The other victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating.
