Two injured in west S.A. drive-by shooting, police say

SAPD: Two men injured in drive-by

SAN ANTONIO -- Chaos and gunfire broke out in a west San Antonio neighborhood early Wednesday morning, and police said two men were injured in a drive-by shooting..

The San Antonio Police Department told KENS 5 at the scene a man in his 50s was standing in his yard in the 2400 block of Potosi when someone in a black vehicle opened fire.

Police said he was hit in the leg. A 27-year-old man who lives at the same house was also grazed by a bullet on his nose.

Both victims were taken to University Hospital. Police said they did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

SAPD is also searching for a black sedan in connection with this incident. The shooters face charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and deadly conduct.

Police investigated the shooting of 27-year-old Gloria Soto on October 11 at the same address. She survived a gunshot wound to the leg.
