Police release sketch of Hardberger Park sexual assault suspect

Police are on the hunt for a man they believe committed a sexual assault at Hardberger Park in San Antonio.

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Police Department is asking for help in identifying the man who sexually assaulted a woman on September 12, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. at Hardberger Park.
 
Investigators have released a sketch of what they believe he looked like. He is described as approximately 5’ 9” to 6’ 1” in height with a strong/stocky build. He has light-colored hair in “messy layers” and an angular facial structure.
 
He is further described as having medium-to-light color eyes and a thin scar starting on front of chin & curved to underneath his chin. He also has a “cauliflower ear”, damage to cartilage on left ear and a piercing in the same ear, but no earring. He has a strong, angular jaw line and a strong/fit neck with a noticeable “Adam’s apple”. Police said the man is not suspected in any other sexual assault cases in the area.
 
There is ramped up security at Hardberger Park with police patrols on bike and in cars. San Antonio Police Department said they will continue to be out there as they search for the suspect.
