Second teen detained, charged with murder in New Braunfels 17-year-old's death

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas - A second teen has been detained in connection with 17-year-old Conrad Kuntz's death, New Braunfels police said Wednesday.

A 16-year-old male from New Braunfels is the second suspect in this case, and police said he was apprehended at his home without incident, taken to the Guadalupe County Juvenile Detention Center and he was charged with murder.

As KENS 5 reported, a 15-year-old male from Marion was also charged with murder.

The New Braunfels Police Department said he remains in custody at the juvenile detention center.

Neither suspect's identity will be released because they are minors, police said.
