Second juvenile arrested in case of boy burned in Kerrville

KERRVILLE -- A second arrest was made in connection with a fire that left a 10-year-old boy in a coma.

Kayden Culp is now awake, but just 10 days ago, he suffered burns over 20 percent of his body. Investigators say that four boys were playing inside a barn on October 2 when one of them poured gasoline on a fire.

It exploded, leaving Kayden badly burned.

One boy was charged with first-degree arson, and now a second is facing that same charge.

Police are not releasing their names because they are under the age of 18.
