SAPD investigating skeletal remains found on northeast side

San Antonio police are investigating after human remains were found on the northeast side.

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Police Department is investigating after skeletal remains were found on the northeast side.

“At this point, we can't say whether this is a male or female but there is male clothing there,” SAPD officer Doug Greene said.

Two people walking near Holbrook and Eisenhauer Thursday evening found the bones near Salado Creek.

Police said they are only partial remains and appear to be wrapped in men's clothing.

The medical examiner will work to determine if they are indeed human and will attempt to identify the remains.

Anyone who may have seen something in the area is asked to call the police.
