Man arrested in beating death

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas -- A man was arrested and accused of killing another man in connection with a fight on Nov. 21.

Bobby Lee Garza now faces a murder charge, and a woman was also arrested in connection with this incident.

Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said two groups of men and women fought at a home in the 9800 block of Foxmoor Creek in west Bexar County, but it's not clear what started the fight.

One man, Veco Holloway, reportedly died from his injuries. He was found injured and unconscious at the scene.

Deputies said two women, a mother and daughter, were also injured.

Garza is accused of beating Holloway so badly that his liver was lacerated, and the Bexar County Medical

Examiner's Office said Holloway died from blunt force injuries.

Kiana Mayberry faces assault charges, and deputies are searching for another possible suspect.

More information was not immediately available.
