Crime Stoppers searching for southwest-side bank robber

SAN ANTONIO - Authorities are appealing to the public for help in apprehending the suspect involved in a bank robbery on March 13.

The incident occurred at the BBVA Compass Bank on 2310 S.W. Military Dr. shortly before 11 a.m. after the unknown male pointed a gun at the teller and demanded the money.

He then fled the location in a small, red, four-door vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money and is now wanted for aggravated robbery.

The male subject attempted to shield his identity by wearing a hooded jacket, black gloves, and dark sunglasses.

Any information leading to the arrest of the suspect may be rewarded up to $5,000.

Tipsters are asked to call 210-224-STOP (7867) and may remain anonymous.
