Couple critically injured in drug-related shooting, police say

SAPD: Two shot in drug-related robbery

SAN ANTONIO - Police said a man and woman were shot and critically injured in an apparent "drug deal gone wrong" on the southeast side Sunday night.

The incident happened in the 3200 block of Bolmore Drive around 10 p.m.

The San Antonio Police Department told KENS 5 at the scene that the couple, a 21-year-old woman and 22-year-old man, wanted to "score some drugs" at an apartment complex in there area when an alleged drug dealer, or dealers, shot them.

SAPD said possible suspects then stole the couple's vehicle. Officers are reportedly searching for a white Kia Rio in connection with this incident.

The woman was shot in the chest, while the man was reportedly shot in his abdomen. Both were transported to the San Antonio Military Medical Center with critical injuries, police said.

More information was not immediately available.
