Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in finding Latray Whitley. Whitley is wanted in connection to a fatal 2009 shooting. San Antonio police say Whitley shot and killed 36-year old Corey Cumby.
According to investigators, Cumby was leaving “Club Studio” the night of November 28 when a dark colored car pulled up to the victim and shot several times into his vehicle.
Cumby was seen speeding and swerving before crashing into a ditch near IH-35 and Eisenhauer Road. When police arrived on the scene they found Cumby dead with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police interviewed two people who claimed they witnessed the shooting. One witness told police they saw gunshots fired from the passenger seat where Whitley was sitting.
On Thursday, police arrested the suspected driver of the car, 29-year old Hollis Nealy.
Now they would like to find Whitley.
