A man who decided to rob a convenience store didn't settle for just the cash register. He also held up a kid who was inside the store.
Around midnight Saturday night, the suspect walked into a Tetco station on San Pedro. He pulled a gun and took money from a kid who was in the store. Then he hit up the clerk for the store's cash.
The man took off on foot. It was not clear how much money he got away with.
No one was hurt in the incident.
