He is this month's featured fugitive from the list of Texas' 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders and there is little wonder why.
Dallas Wayne Waddell's offenses include convictions for sexual assault of a child and aggravated sexual assault with a deadly weapon (involving a 13-year-old girl). He is wanted for burglary of a habitation and parole violation.
The 47-year-old fugitive stands at 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. Authorities say the fugitive has several tattoos including a Jesus/heart/cross tattoo on the outside of his right leg, a lions/clouds/trees tattoo on his upper left arm, and a "Diana" tattoo on his left hand.
Waddell also has scars on his face, right hand and upper left arm.
The reward for tips leading to Waddell's capture has been bumped up to $13,000. But that reward is only being offered through the month of August.
Authorities say Waddell was born in Galveston, but his last known address was in Whitney, Texas. They fear he may now have moved on to Mexico, but even if he has, the reward will still be paid if he is arrested there.
