Garth Nelson didn't get angry when a window in his sunroom shattered, but that changed when the builder refused to honor his warranty.
"The warranty expressly says anything, but acts of God," Nelson said.
Elite Solar Products validated the warranty and said the window would be available in a few days. However, three months passed and Nelson still didn't receive the replacement window.
That's when Nelson decided to call Eyewitness Wants to Know.
We spoke with Mark Kraemer, owner of Elite Solar Products, who promised the window would be available to Nelson within a week.
Well, it took another month, but Nelson said he received the window last week.
In other news, Delma Losoya and her siblings had aspirations of surprising their parents at Coushatta Casino in celebration of their 52nd wedding anniversary. Plans dramatically changed when, two days before the trip, the charter company canceled the trip citing that not enough people were going.
Losoya spent weeks attempting to obtain her $135 refund to no avail.
We tried on several occasions to visit the charter company and even called, but our efforts were unsuccessful.
Until, a week after initially running the story on Kens 5, Losoya received her $135 refund check.
