PR guru, T.J. Connolly could still face jail time after pleading guilty to misdemeanor campaign violations.
The former spokesperson for BexarMet was accused of funneling money from clients to BexarMet board members and a city council candidate.
As part of the plea bargain, all felony charges against him were dropped.
Connolly must pay a $10,000 fine.
Sentencing is scheduled for April, and a judge could still decide to sentence him up to a year in jail.
